Update and Happy April!

Sweet April showers do bring May flowers.

It’s April….. finally!!!

I’m wishing that I lived in the country so I could be planning my gardening. One day….

Thomas and I are re-watching West World before the new season comes on. We love it! It’s not like anything I’ve ever seen. The scenery is beautiful, it’s even inspired us to look into going to Utah (where it’s filmed). For those that haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it, but it’s adult eyes only!

I’ve been awol lately. It’s been pretty crazy with school and just life in general. But the good news is that  the semester is half way over. The bad news is that it’s “go” time. School has been really busy. I knew that signing up for three online classes was going to be challenging, but not THIS challenging. I feel like I’m behind and struggling. To be honest…….I’m just plain lost. I have no idea what I’m doing.  I really hate that feeling.  I am going to school for dietetics. It’s a huge challenge, which I expected. But I’m the type of person that nothing comes easily, I’ve always had to work really hard to understand things (if that makes sense).  I’m just frustrated. I don’t like to question decisions I’ve already made. Anyways………. breathe deep. Things will get better. I know this is what I was meant to do. Everyone’s journey is going to be different.

So it’s the beginning of April, so what’s a gal to do. I’ve decided to plan the month out a head of time. One big event coming up is the Equine Affair. I am so excited!! I can’t wait to go. It’s a bunch a barns with tons of different horses, shopping, and clinic’s. There’s also a cool event at school, the World Fair. So I’m pretty excited about that too. There will be food, dancing, and music. There will be pictures for both events. 🙂 Hopefully there will be more to see and do in the new month, because it’s time to celebrate spring! Even though it’s been snowing, I’m still celebrating spring. I have cabin fever badly and I’m ready for some outdoor time!!

Another thing on the agenda is that I’m also looking for a new home for me and my little family. Yes, we are moving again, but it’s in the same city. It’s time to get out of this apartment. We want a little more space and quietness. This is not easy especially in the city! It needs to be in a safe area, rent a decent price, and close enough to downtown (but far enough away). In Columbus, this isn’t exactly an easy find. We’ve narrowed it down to a few places. What I would LOVE a house in the country, but that won’t happen for a couple of years.

Thomas made us a biscuit brunch yesterday. It was absolutely lovely!

Another thing that I’ve been slowly doing is getting rid of Facebook. Why? Because the less social media, the better. I still have my Instagram and Twitter accounts.

This was just a quick little update. I hope you’ve had a fantastic start to the month! Here’s to warmer weather!!
