August rain: the best of summer is gone and the new fall not yet born. The odd uneven time.

Goodbye July and hello August.

I was thinking it’d be fun to do a monthly favorites for July. So let’s get goin’!

  1.     Roper boots

“The West isn’t a place. It’s a way of life.” I know you don’t know this, but I’m a wanna-be cowgirl.  And when I saw these they boots were calling me. I knew they’d be the perfect accessory to add to my wardrobe.  I love them!

2. Essential oil diffuser

I’ve actually been looking to get one for a couple of years. Once Amazon Day came up, a couple of the diffusers went on sale. I finally just did it. I’ve been enjoying it for a couple of weeks now and love it.  I would love to get a couple more for around the house. I find it very relaxing in our bedroom.

3. Goddess Garden Organics, Everyday sunscreen

I’ve been using this company for almost a year and a half. I’m a huge fan. Especially their facial cleansers and creams. But I’ve been using the sunscreen for only about three months. It’s the only company, that I’ve seen that is reef safe. Think about it-when your in the ocean enjoying the summer sun, that sunblock you applied is gonna come right off in that water. Therefore, it puts those chemicals into the water. There website is great too, super informative. Goddess Garden

4. Evanhealy hydrosol

I can’t say enough about this hydrosol. I really love using it, especially in the summer time. It’s cool and refreshing. Another plus is that it smells great! I’ve gotten a few different ones in the past. The only compliant I have is the price, it’s a bit expensive.

5. the New American Road Trip Mixtape, written by Brendan Leonard

This is a great summer read. If you are interested in the American West, finding yourself, and road trips. This is the read for you.
